Only thing that makes me sad is this mysterious rattle in the center dash... It comes intermittently. *sigh. Also got some rattle near the glove box department. OCD kickin in.

Agreed, I was rather disappointed by how much bigger it was compared to the fob from my old E90.

1. Location of the heated steering wheel button (Yes, I know, I hear myself "oh, the button for my heated steering wheel is so inconvenient" )
2. The light for auto-windshield wiper is obstructed by the steering wheel. 3. In Sport mode my car is like a rocket ship and will smoke 95% of other cars on the road. Oh, you wanted just the bad stuff? |

The cup holders should have some "fingers" with springs in them to accommodate smaller drinks. Some BMWs have these (X5?) and plenty of my previous cars did too.

The only niggles I have with this car: -The boot hinge -The key remote size that's about it

No LED brake lights, it's a 50k car fucking really?! A 2011 Camry has them!
Light leaks through the drivers door accent lighting strip above the door handle. Car does not automatically unlock all doors when put into park, you have to manually do it. Retarded! |

after driving my friend's e92 m3, I kinda wished we have similar gauges like theirs. I like how the m3 gauges are bright and has white LEDs instead of our typical classic boring red gauges. Plus the cool thing about m3 gauges is that as the car is getting warmed up, the redline consistent moves down to where it is suppose to be to tell you its good to push it.

F30s aren't comfortable, but just the M3 is more comfy. |

I never liked it. Huge pet peeve, looks pretty gimmicky to me. Also found the blue stripe to be equally unappealing. So much so, that I would not have bought an F30 if those two were the only choices on the Sport Line. Fortunately, I went with the black stripe along the dash...MUCH better! |

One other bad part of the E9x design was the location of the iDrive knob. It was directly behind the gear lever, and not an ergonomical place for your hand. With the F30, it is more offset and to the right, which is a more comfortable position. |

Here are some things I wish they would improve;
- I got the sport seats yet the thigh bolster support is almost non-existent. Isn't that the purpose of "sport" seats. - I wish the navigation had a "bread crumb trail" option. My Toyota has it and I find it fairly useful when back tracking and not wanting to have to re-enter navigation directions. - It would be nice if the center arm rest storage was a little deeper - Add a flip door storage in the door if possible. My Porsche had this and I found it useful to keep my sun glasses. Right now there's not enough places to put glasses if you already have stuff in the center arm rest. I'm glad there's a cubby hole below the light switch button but I always seem to forget about it. - It would be nice if the HUD showed current gear or at least had the option to switch it on and off. - The HK sound system is very sub par when listening to low volume. It's somewhat acceptable at mid and upper volume. - I would prefer no run flat tires and have a temp spare in the trunk with a small air compressor if needed. - This is my first foray with iDrive. I don't have an answer, but there's got to be more intuitive ways to adjust things. It's not bad but not great. - I would rather have smooth leather seats though I know some people like the texture. That said, I'm ok with the current configuration of the cup holders. I don't think it will hold a 64oz soda but I don't drink those. |
