Amazing job on the blue stitching. Wow.

Thank you! I totally agree. I hardly see any M sport 3'ers around so there is some exclusivity there. EBII is an even smaller subset of that.

Sweet car! Your story is similar to mine. Last year, I purchased my 2013 with 7k miles. It didn't have everything I wanted but I couldn't pass up the deal.

This is my 3rd time modding a BMW. After making a ton of mistakes from impulse decisions, I've decided to start easy with my F30. In my opinion, F30 M-Sports have such nice body lines that extensive mods can take away from its beauty.

As suggested by others, I went with the black grilles and painted reflectors. They are subtle enough to improve appearance without having a modded/custom look.

Being this is your first car (and obviously first time modding), I recommend driving the car for 6-12 months so you can enjoy it and learn its characteristics so you can make more educated decisions.

Congrats and welcome to this great community!

Thank you! A 2013 with just 7k miles is a great find. Yes, I plan to take it easy for the most part. If I had my own garage, I'm sure the mob bug would have taken over me by now haha

I then raised the driver side to the same first "click" and tried to push it back down pressing the button but it still won't go down
It isn't. It's exactly the way you have it. It's just the angle of the image that make it look like it's all the way down.

If I am not mistaken, the only way to lower it all the way is by removing some kind of clip which holds the rod under the seat. I'm pretty sure I read it here in one of the threads so just search and you should get your answer.

Looking at this again...

I just can't believe that stitching work. Awesome! I would not have the patience to complete...

To me, it's always an overlooked, simple mod that really cleans the front end up. Nice mineral grey btw.

Try JBSPEED as that's where I got mine from, but really, anyone off eBay does this.

Thanks again. If you have the right tool set, you can take the seats off and do it at home. That would be much faster IMO.

Haha I'm not sure if that was a sarcastic or genuine question (Hopefully sarcastic). I have just one client. Myself

But the materials you would need would cost around $15. Total man hours would be 30-40.

+1 on going all black, especially since there is no chrome anywhere else.

Great choice! Mine is almost identical. Best car I have ever owned...by a country mile

Black grills are on my list so hopefully soon. I agree that they would blend in well with the shadowline exterior trim.
