I do like the brushed finish too, but it is a bugger for collecting little scratches & dents, mine was already starting to look tatty after just 4 months!

No not yet, ACS springs booked in for Tuesday so spreading the mods out a bit to keep my interest up.

I'm thinking of detailing it next weekend so will do it then.

You've also forgotten the alu trim around your knob, it would finish it off nicely as per how it is on the M3/M4's , looks bloody good mate, well done

How much CF did you order ?

The bit around the knob is silver plastic, I just think it looks too much with it done as well, see pic below.

I bought this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201025393960

So I gave in and wrapped the gear stick surround too! It did have a few scratches on it so at least they're covered up. I actually think it looks better in person than in photos:

Looking good. You might as well go the whole hog and get the CF gear knob...

Carefully remove bit with D-N-R on it, (it's stuck on). Then you'll see a T8 screw that holds the top on, remove this and top comes off, careful with the side button. You'll need new double sided stuff to put it back on.

It is a Brodit active holder, get them from http://www.dsldevelopments.com/

This is how I connected it: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1228584

Or if you just want power you can tap the HU cables with their one that includes hard wire kit, or to save money get one like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HitCar-DC-...gAAOSwZjhXIxEs

I'm thinking of just wrapping the blue strip on mine. Might do it gloss black. I assume the process will be very similar to this.
