Redline changes recommended differential fluid to 75w85.

I just changed my diff fluids to redline 75w90 and I find out Redline did this. Using the application guide the recommended fluid is this for all f30s now.

https://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=40&pcid=4

It seems a whole lot lighter than 75w90..would definitely help in coldweather.but what about spirited driving in summer?

I am going with the 90 weight as I drive spiritedly. And am sticking with the D4ATF as it is a little thicker then the OEM for the manual trans so better protection and shift feel is pretty close to OEM.

Also all BMW's other than M series have Open Diff's.

I had LSD swap to Quaife and we put BMW 75w-85 axle oil,

Quaife approved and said no problem although they recommended 75w-90 in their instructions.
