Anyone else's inside window door frame buzzing/rattling?

The plasticky black frame that surrounds the window on my passenger door inside the car buzzes when certain pitches like voices come from the radio, and rattles when the car is driving at higher speeds. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes it is #8 exactly! I love my car, but I have to say for the money the sheer number of rattles and creaks is out of control! @ rs277 you will have to let me know how the M exhausts sounds after you get it on!

Yeah Ive already sent in a list with pics of the rattle sources, and this one was on it. I fucking hate it, just pressing on it actually dampens the buzz so i think it will be an easy fix. The b-pillar however.....

Will do, there's a few threads up on the MPE sound but I'll add my thoughts on it as well once I get it. I'll try to put together a video as well

My E39 530i had a driver's side B-Pillar rattle--faint, but I always heard it. Two attempts to fix by the dealer and I learned to live with it.

My first F30 was ghostly quiet except in high winds on the highway the windows would rattle. The new one has an intermittent little B-Pillar rattle on the driver's side, and every once in a while a noise coming from the pax window side. Might be that #8 piece, but hard to troubleshoot by yourself.

Also try lubricating all the plastic and rubber seals with Gummiflege.

I definitely have something constantly rattling in that area but I think mine's something different. Mine is coming from right above the drivers sun visor behind the headliner. If I press on it it goes away. so frustrating but not nearly as bad as the E92 was

Has anyone been successful at having the dealer fix the issue? I am thinking about taking mine in for this rattle and for the window rattle as well.

On a test drive I think I did notice something coming from the HK little speaker in the door frame, at first I thought it sounded like some kind of noise from the radio or something.

This happens to me too on the driver's side. It's not consistent but happens here and there.

Yes, I am also experiencing this, except it is on my driver's side door. And it sucks ass. I paid more for the H&K stereo to avoid dealing w/ audio problems. Unfortunately the entire back shelf area just rattles and whirrz and whines also. Literally when I play songs at normal volume you get random plastic buzzes and chirps around the entire car.

.. And that's just normal hits/top 100 stuff. If I put on any electronic music or anything with bass, the entire car sounds like it's about to fall into pieces.

Absolutely my #1 disappointment from the F30.

I just noticed a buzzing...rear passenger side door. Playing certain audio book voices makes it buzz. Thought it was the speaker, but no. It's towards the opening end of the door. Can't pinpoint exactly. Annoying as hell. It definitely something that vibrates as a result of the speaker audio.

Anyone ever fix theirs?

Mine had rattles from A pillars at both driver and passenger side, they turned out to be coming from water bottles at door pockets vibrating against hard plastic panels(and the noise traveled up), and the rattles disappeared after the pockets were cleared out.

My F30 has rattles and squeaks which showed up after a week of purchase. I took it to the dealership for the rubber squeaks and they just put some lube on it. I have rattles from the engine right at the steering column, I think it is the AC weight problem someone mentioned on this forum - I will get that fixed when I go in for service.

Did anyone hear how the F30 sounds outside the car when you are playing music. It's sounds horrible, like rattles in a hollow box.
