Thanks for spreading the info along! If you ever get the itch for more power, go bootmod3. Will be even faster than an m3. Less than $500 too.

Hi kubax86, I'm planning to buy your carplay activation stuff but wanted to know if it comes with a guide? I watched your youtube vid and it looked like you needed to remote in to do somethings.

Hi All,

I know this is an old thread, but hope people are still active.

2018 440i Xdrive Gran Coupe, here.

Planning to do the Bimmer Remote coding install, but understand a wifi antenna could be required. I really don't want to have to install Wifi antenna. How has that worked for others here without it, in similar cars?

Software is NBTevo_Y222921

Send them your VIN and they will tell you if it's needed or nor. My car had everything already and it works like a charm

Adding the WiFi antenna is actually super simple. I would be shocked if it took more than 30 minutes.
