Hello,

Car is stock 2015 F30 320i battery replaced 2 weeks ago. Twice because of the same problem….

Today went to start car and got one blip from the starter. The lights turn on, ignition, locks or accessories.

Voltage at under hood jump terminals is ~4.5V.

Voltage at directly on battery is ~12.6v.

Any suggestions on were to check for the short in the wiring?

Are there any known issues with this happening to these cars?

I tried disconnecting the IBS (intelligent battery sensor) connector on the negative lead to no avail.

I had the same problem twice, and I thought the problem was the battery, but with new one this problem came back after some weeks..
