Corrupt FA or confusion?

So recently after I flashed some ECU modules I noticed they were disappearing of my list that I could update..

Last night I had a brainwave that maybe the FA was corrupt or missing data, so I tried loading an early FA backup and BAM they were back. I also noticed that they weren't going blue/red when I was doing a KIS/SVT calculation, I believe this may be the issue. Does anybody know what's gone wrong here?

Could it be that I'm doing a calculation with older i-steps when actually all three (DME2, DSC and EGS) are on much more recent i-steps?

If HWEL is black, then you chose correct I-Step.

So is there any reason why the folder icons aren't changing to red/blue and showing up in TAL-Processing when I flash the modules?
