Extended warranty

Hi guys, newbie here. In the excitement of locking in a new car, totally forgot to negotiate for any freebies and upgrades. Silly me. Would have got a better deal I reckon. The cars a couple of weeks old now.

Stuck with a standard 3 year warranty. Any advice on extending my peace of mind? Dealer or 3rd party? Cost?

I would go with dealer. Try to ask them if you can get a discount if you bundle coverage, for example wheel and tire along with extended warranty or that you just brought the car and can you still qualify for a discount. Let them quote you the price first then negotiate a discount or ask multiple dealers and tell them what the other dealer quoted to see if they can give you a break. Not sure if you can factor it into your financing at this point if you're doing it though BMW or if you can then refinance the total cost with another bank.
