For some reason the front bumper doesn't jive with the look of the car... I think it's b/c the bonnet is so tall.

The car has a really huge butt too and makes the car look heavy.

I don't know. When I first saw the E92 I just had to have one. I kept it three years but released it because it was impractical for a tall person with growing kids (no one could fit behind me).

I regret selling it of course because I just loved the styling. I still admire the ones I see on the road and I still believe the pre LCI is the cleanest.

This 4 series is just not sexy enough, not modern enough. Remember this styling has to last 7 years. Is this the best BMW can do for 2020?

It should have looked like the concept car.

You do know that your 2010 M3 was the entry Level M car at the time of it's purchase dont you? And I am willing to bet that more 17 year old high school girls with rich daddies are driving M3s than 1Ms. I get the sense that you are just pissed that you were unable to snag a 1M...it's OK, there are a few used ones on the market right now...go get one.

I actually like these real life photos much more than the official fancy 100000 USD photo shots that some hired photo professionals hired by BMW made and that are known as the official release pictures... I was very underwhelmed when I saw the official pictures of the F32 M Sport package. This was mainly due to 3 facts:

- Official pictures didn't do the gorgeous EBII justice. As I've seen the EBII on several F30s in person, I know for myself that this color looks stunning in person. Much better and richer in shades than the color shown on the official pictures.

- They did somehow choose strange perspectives

- This is especially true for the front bumper shots that seem to be taken from a very low (crouched?) perspective. This looks unnatural and gives the car a much less aggressive look. I already suspected the m sport front bumber to look much better in person. The pictures above proove that, if you ask me (obviously taken from a more natural persective). As always the black color hides a lot of the cars beautiful lines (what a waste...) but the car looks good and aggressive and I even like the front bumber.

For whatever reason I really think BMW should take more (or less) care of the offical picture they release. I remember having been very underwhelmed by the offical F30 m sport "pictures" (which have rather been computer renderings, if I remember correctly). Almost every photo shoot of F30 M Sport cars posted here on the forums looked better more aggressive and did the car and its various colors more justice. Don't know what you guys think...

This obviously needs to look better than an E92 as its newer.........but problem is the similarness to the F30, hope I'm not blind there but all I see is a lower and wider f30 with a sleeker roofline. By seeing how common the F30 is on the road already i would expect this design to loose its freshness after a few months and be lost in a see of F30s.

At least the E92 was styled to look deliberately different to the E90, with its own uniqueness and design touches. This is just back to the e46 days when the coupe was just a wider and lower designed version of the sedan.

So if you consider the new badge and price hike, I myself wouldn't want to spend more for a car which looks so similar to its sedan counterpart. Why give it a new badge and tacky side vents when its going to look like an F30 anyway?
