Genuinely jealous, enjoy and be sure to post some (all) photos from the race!

On a more serious note, I'm a bit concerned about Massa's incident. For those that didn't watch, he basically clipped off about a foot of an apex and broke his turn-in wheel's suspension. I see a few cars taking that line throughout the course of a race (esp. if pushed in from the outside). I have a feeling we may see a number of retirements tomorrow...

JB/LH starting next to each other should be interesting.

SV is too damn good...
Serioulsy PMAN LIVE IT UP!!!!

I haven't watched any of the qualifying yet but i cheated and youtubed the incident. I then read up on the other drivers' thoughts and it seems only LH and Massa are concerned about going off the kerbs to evne be effect by those. but yeah, that was insane, not only broke the suspension...lost one of the new wings.

Side Note: Webbah is NOT HAPPY with all this talk about letting him by to get the win and get second in the points. If I were a driver that'd feel like a kick in the junk! "Hey we're going to get Seb the Championship this year. We'll let you win a couple after he's locked it up." Seriously. Kick in the junk.

Hamilton and Massa again!!!

Hamilton: "You mad?" Massa: "AHHHHH!!!!"

Then Massa got a penalty..."huh? WTF???"

And then Massa destroyed his own race...

I think the stewards made the wrong call. Massa was ahead going into the turn. Regardless, good inaugural race w/ expected outcome

decent race, nothing really exceptional like a classic, the track has a good foundation of nice corners with overtaking straights....we hope to see more excitement when the dust clears away next year...

I was laughing my arse off but also disappointed that the stewards gave Massa the penalty....I felt this is pure racing incident and should take no further action....

seems like this season is slowly destroying Massa mentally with the tangles and unfortunate events...

You're right, the race itself was a 5/10. Not much action, at least from what I could see.

However, the whole weekend experience was awesome. It was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing, and I'm so glad that I made the effort to fly out for it, even if it means that I have a rough week coming up.

I will post a full writeup, including photos and videos, when I get back to the States. And yes, I got to meet Michael .

Freaking Speed cut the race 3 laps before it ended ; next time I'm going to DVR the next event as well. I assume Vettel won, and also broke the laps lead record, but did he made the perfect race, to unseat Ayrton Senna's 19-yr hold? I'm talking about pole, win, ALL laps led, and fastest lap. Just curious. Thanks gang.

. How the hell not to attempt that and maybe keep that record for another 2 decades? Before the refueling ban, you could set the fastest lap early in the race; not now.

By the way, some argue most led laps is not valid due to the previous record being set over 16 races, but that wouldn't be apples to apples either due to different tracks and different number of laps per race due to refueling. If those want to be precise, they need to count TOTAL laps on the season back then and this year. At any rate, with 2 races left, Seb will no doubt break the record any way they want .

What other records he can smash? He already equaled most reces won, right (with 2 to go)? Thx.

When i saw hamilton chasing massa on lap 23, I was thinking..oh crap...here we go again....and on the next lap...well...everyone knows what happened now...

I would think there will be a penalty to Hamilton, then I LOL'ed when Massa got it....

even tho i felt it should be racing incident and no penalties should given....

Damn what a rough couple of days for Massa.

Decent race overall, could have been a little more exciting without Vettel leading for every lap. Good result for MSC.

Sorry Felipe, this is how you should do it, you don't just close the door and expect the other driver vanish...and vice versa....

the dual between the two mclarens starts at 2:00...

I enjoyed the race. Nothing too special though. Hopefully once that dust and dirt cleans off we can see some unique passing on the massive turn in sections.

On Hamilton and Massa, sometimes poeple will blame Hamilton whether he is in front, back, inside, or outside. It can't always be his fault, and if you watch the first corner of the race you can see how punchy Massa is towards Hamilton. He takes that corner hard and even looses his front end for a split second as he cut up the inside of Hamilton.

I'll say that I was surprised Hamilton didn't receive a penalty, but I think part of that may just be conditioning from all the other incidents. Also, Hamilton being on full brakes at the time of the accident was part of it. You can clearly see his brake point is much earlier than Massa, and since they are always driving on the edge it isn't like he could have dropped out any quicker as he was already under braking for the corner. Plus as the BBC team pointed out, Massa was fully aware that he was there and left him no room.

As Eddie Jordan pointed out after the race, you see Massa cleary turning his head and seeing where Lewis was, then hit him. Think thats why he got the penalty

the race was ok, great track though. the best part was Mr Bean's face after Lewis and Massa collided

PMan, you are extremely lucky. not only to get to go but to hang out in the paddock and pit area, pretty sick man!
