iPhone USB Audio volume low

So my search results came up with Bluetooth volume issues, but I seem to be having USB volume issues when using my iPhone 6+ and 2016 340i. The radio, both XM and FM/AM, is much louder than when I play music via the USB cable. Even playing music through Bluetooth is slightly louder than the USB. Does anyone else seem to have this issue? Would love to get this figured out.

Same thing happens in mine with the XM radio being louder than the USB input. I figured its just normal but not really sure

Have you tried turning the volume up on the phone?
