IMO it tranforms the cars looks so it is a must do. Make sure you fit the wheel spacers aswell
Thanks mate.

Yes, Eibach spacers will be fitted at the same time the springs are getting done.

Hopefully it will be a really positive transformation on the car.

They mentioned spacers to me when I got a quote. My wheels already stick out a bit (20" 405M) and chuch shit up the side of the car along with the odd bit of damage from stones etc. I'm unsure if I should add spacers too as it'll only make it worse

Looking at the wheels specsfor 19" 442M and 20" 405M, the wheels are the same width and also have the same offset.

19" -
Front Wheels: 8Jx19 ET36 (p/n BMW 36117852493)
Rear Wheels: 8.5Jx19 ET47 (p/n BMW 36117852494)

20" -
Front Wheels: 8Jx20 ET36 (p/n BMW 36116796264)
Rear Wheels: 8.5Jx20 ET47 (p/n BMW 36116796265)

I imagine yours will stick out the same as mine after spacers. Currently mine are tucked away in the arches. Do you have a side profile pic showing the arch/wheel?

Cheers

Not the best photo I know but all I have on my phone, but I wouldn’t say they are sunken into the arches by any means. What do you think?

Back one looks in more compared to the front (unless its the angle of the photo). Are they OEM wheels?

Might just be the angle and camber of the wheels. From this angle they look a little deep at the top

Yeah that’s it then! They’re OEM factory fitted so must be the same. Spacers too now then, ha, ha. All adding up!!

Yep! Remapped this morning at DR. Traffic was horrendous coming back as it’s bank holiday weekend so haven’t really had the chance to feel the full force yet but from what I have done it is amazing!

412 BHP & 730 Nm! May the 4th be with you

Cheers pal, looking forward ro the drive home!

Nice one, feedback how you get on. Does the 15mm arb make it more tight and stiffer?

I hear that it tightens the rear a bit & it’s more planted too when going round corners

Springs and Spacers are on!!!

I know i'm late to the party as a lot of you have these but it was the reviews and talk of how good they were made me take the plunge. With this in mind, the springs were a must and the spacers were a nice extra .

Today began early - 6am wake up and set of around 6.45am. It was around a 150 mile round trip for me so took my Dad along for company. We arrived at Autoleys for 8.30am. We were met by Lorcan who took us back to the Rossiters dealership where we waited around 4.5 hours for the work to be done.

My initial thoughts were wow! What a transformation. The stance on the car is great and the drop in ride height is spot on for me . The car looks more aggressive and i'm really pleased with the results.

Driving back to Leicester via the A47 was relatively clear so it gave me the chance to push the car a little and see how it performed. It was different to the journey there... Kind of reminded me of how my F10 M sport on 20" RFT's was. You can definitely feel more in the steering and it feels a tiny bit heavy now - which i prefer. Maybe ditching the RFT's for some Pilot Sport 4S will be better for the ride!

Overall though i'm very happy with the way it drives now and love the way it looks. The only regret I have is not doing it sooner! I was sold on the look before I even purchased these but the handling and movement of the car now will allow me to enjoy it even more.

I will have to use the angled approach to attack my driveway as its too low to go on straight. I did get defeated by a speed hump at my local sainsbury's... I had to back off as it touched the underside of the splitter even going in at an angle... I just turned around and went home oh well!

A big thank you to Lorcan for arranging everything and the great hospitality that we were shown It was a really good day all round.

Some before and after pics....

Looks fantastic! Sorry, if I have missed this in the thread, but what size spacers did you go for? 10/12 or 12/15? Thanks
