any recent lease/purchase of a 335?

Anyone recently negotiated a lease/purchase of a 2013 335?
I am looking at leasing a 335i or xi with premium and msport package.

What sort of discounts has people been getting?
So far it looks like 7% off msrp is what I been getting.

But the lease numbers looks high....53% residual on the xdrive and 4.9% lease rate.

I am about to do the same in the coming days. Online the pricing shows a residual of 56% for a 335 xDrive (20k). How come you got quoted 53%?

I suspect interest rates will drop in the coming months, but so will residuals.

My issue though is that I will factory order and have to gamble on what the rates will be in 3 months time.

It's not really a gamble. You will typically get the better off the two between the rates / residuals at the time you order and the time you take delivery.

I actually just placed my order last week. My vehicle goes into production next week, but won't be ready until after April 1st, once the new rates are provided.

I was told I couldn't "lock in" the rates, and I was at the mercy of what BMW was offering at the time of pickup. I asked several times and that was always the answer.

Is this something I should speak to head office/corporate about? Can they do anything?

That doesn't sound right. The last two BMW's I've leased were custom orders and in both cases the rates at the time I signed were locked in until I took delivery, the only change would have been if the rates or incentives changed in my favor prior to delivery.

Yes, that has been my experience as well.

I'll ask again about it. I could have sworn too that I was able to lock in rates before, but wondered fi they had maybe changed the policy. Sounds like they haven't.

I ordered in late October 2012 and took delivery in Jan. The rate was locked in at the time of ordering. If the dealer is saying you cannot lock in, then I would check with BMW Canada.

There is actual truth to that. If the paperwork is not signed and submitted by April 1st, BMW will not honor the programs you've signed. Residuals change every few months so it makes some sense.

Just sign the paperwork and pick it up when it is done?

Anyone know the residual on a 335i M Sport RWD sedan on a 39 month lease with 12,000/km per year allowance? I was quoted 51% but that seems pretty low. Shouldnt it be near 55-60%?

Nope, I just checked my system and it is 51%. Remember, the RWD's are always lower.
55% is for the Xdrive models.
