Injen Intake issues
I bought an injen intake a couple days ago. Since then, my car has been showing a CEL and has died in the road multiple times saying "drivetrain malfunction". I just ran it through with an OBDII scanner. The code is attached. Does anybody else have any experience? I am very disappointed in the quality of this product. Next thing is to put the stock intake on and make sure its the intakes fault and not the sensor.

I have been using my injen intake for over a year with no issues, I would re-check all connections especially the MAF sensor make sure it's all hooked up and tight and nothing broke during install. You shouldn't be getting any lights with that intake

No issues and I got it around May this year. Seems to be working fine, and it's obviously covered under the BMW warranty.
I am however, getting a, literally what sounds like a little bird chirping. I googled it and could be one of the belts, not sure. Taking it in tomorrow to dealer. It only happens when I'm in sport+ mode, also have Dinan stage 2. Let you know what I find. My mechanical mods are: Dinan Stage 2 Dinan CF CAI Remus Sport Catback

That code is common with intakes on n55. As I said in your other thread if you have JB4 unplug the MAF sensor and allow the JB4 to control not MAF.

Theoretically, wouldnt the jb4 obdii override the maf sensor regardless of whether or not the maf sensor is connected? Maybe somebody can chime in

You can clear all codes with the JB4, but I wouldn't...it seems like you are ignoring a relevant issue. I have had the Injen Intake installed on my 435 for over a year, and I never once had an issue. I would go through the entire install again and see if you can find an error.

It's only when giving it throttle, I think.... It is definitely not on idle. The last one mile stretch of road to my house (straight and very quiet/smooth road), I'm always in 3rd gear so no gear switching, but don't recall if I let off the gas, I'll check on the way home again tonight, but literally, it sounds like a bird chirping.
