I don't think it's a mistake, it uses 4 halogen H7 bulbs: 2 for low beam and 2 for high beam. You should be able to access both bulbs thru round opening.

Doesn't look like it comes with any bulbs....
" Corner light bulb and socket is not included. Please reuse OEM one." So now I'm curious how the angel eyes light up. So this is prolly just the housing/headlamp minus bulbs. For the price.... I'd still buy the set without bulbs.

I know you are one of the resident GURUs on this forum and like you and others want these to be the real deal. Like I stated earlier..... I'll be the GUIENA PIG on this if these are legit.

Most likely angel eyes are lit up by LEDs powered via oem halogen DRLs.

I'm thinking these are not actually H7 halogen bulbs, or they're using the wrong photos. The door in one photo clearly is marked for a 12v DS1 Xenon bulb. The turn signal door states PY21W which is correct. The ballast is missing for a xenon bulb in the photo though which is odd. See the photo below: The photo from ebay clearly reads 12 DS1 which brings hope that they are truly a OEM clone much like the MARS Performance model they're selling for $2,000. Either way, a HID or LED retrofit is easy enough if it is sadly an H7 mount. Last edited by RarScaryFrosty; 05-04-2016 at 11:53 AM.. |

Is the 16/17 328 led with halogen ? Still not HID? If not does the new 328 come with hid as an option. Just wondering because my lease is up next month so trying to decide . Might have to go up to a 340

You can get the new LED headlights as an option which are just as good in my opinion. The stock 328 comes with halogen headlights still sadly. Even if you move up to the 340, you'll still get the LED headlights, HID's are no longer a lighting option on the 3 series.

Thanks. Those look great. I would love to buy these and jut use LED bulbs instead and code them out. Waiting on the first person to do them and confirm plug-n-play.
