How to load music on HK/Pro Nav?

I'm finally getting my 330d M Sport on Wednesday next week (yes, I'm afraid it is EBII ...). Not had any experience with the HK sound system or pro nav and I'm wondering what routes there are for loading music onto the system.

Can you do it by loading CDs and copying, or do you have to use a memory stick or iPod or something? CD input would be easier for me, as I've not yet committed my world of music to MP3. Does it even have a CD player?

Might seem a daft question, but I can't figure any of this out from the options lists and specs.

Working all next week, but got Wednesday afternoon off for a play ... :-)

Thanks
Dave

CD or USB is fine, but you can't load straight from an iPod. The car has a single CD as standard.

You're probably better off just putting your music (eg iTunes music folder/whatever) on a USB and sticking it in the armrest socket. If the new system is anything like my 2011 E91 Pro Media loading onto the car's HDD makes a complete hash of all the album/track sorting.

Loading from CD to car HDD works perfectly for me. Tracks are just as on the CD.

Really? That's good news. Importing tracks onto the previous iDrive/HDD was a serious pain and I quickly gave up. For a start it always seemed to just play/display tracks in alphabetical order.
