winter setup with m performance brakes

Couldnt find a reasonably priced aftermarket 18 inch wheel to fit the m performance brakes. Tire Rack was great help though. They thought they had a setup that would fit, mounted and balanced 18 inch Blizzak WS70s and shipped em. But the fronts rubbed (not enough hat clearance). Returned those and went with 19'' ASA GT5 and Dunlop Graspics. I realize this is not the best setup, but its better than the factory rubber for snow.

You didn't consider just getting snows on the OEM rims? I ended up doing that, with 18's it's goofy, but 225/18 all around is good for snow performance...

That looks good for any weather. I like the silver inside accent.

How are the brakes btw? I'm considering them as a next mod...I've heard mixed reviews.

Not all after market 18" wheels will fit M-Performance brakes. I tried to fit 18" TSW Bardo's but had to go to 19". Fitted with Blizzak LM-60's. Pics available on the "Show Off Your Winter Wheels" thread.

That gives me hope for my 18" Moda MD11's (my winter wheels, but I don't have the M performance brakes yet). Are your MD16's 8" wide, 32mm offset?

TIA,
