Calling all 328i owners (LA to SD) running tunes
How many of you here are running a tune/performance parts on your 328i? I'm looking at getting a new car soon and I'm not sure I can justify the extra insurance, gas, and payment costs for the 335 when it seems like the 328i would be much more practical (coming out of college, not trying to overwhelm myself).
If you're running a tune, how do you like it? How's the reliability? Cost? Would you go back and get a 335 for the extra money? Appreciate all inputs! |

I think it's well worth it. I have a 328i with BMW stage 1. Plenty fast... especially if you live in LA. You get close to stock 335i figures, but with better weight balance if carving canyons is your thing.

I have Stage 1 on my 328, I dont live in CA but i live in NYC.
reliability - good, ive had it for a little over a year now, no issues. easy of use - great....takes 5 min to install, 5 min to remove if you ever need to power - good....its not going to pin you down to your seat...but you will definitely notice a difference over stock. cost - i think its about $400? but you can get it used for cheaper

I have the BMS Stage 1, I live in LA and I had not had any problems thus far. It took 5 minutes to install and my dealer is mod friendly so I won't ever have to remove it. Best mod yet.
