Which F30 model do you have (or ordered)

you left one out, the activehybrid3.. it's what i have but, i just chose 335 since it's closest to that.

Missed out more than one. My 330d M Sport is due early February.

You know why they're only available as an auto? If you could get it in a manual and you tried to start it in gear by mistake the torque would actually stop the world from rotating for a split second and throw nations into chaos. Or flip the car on it's roof. One or the other.

Mine is 316i modern line. It seems that this is the first 316i here. Due to tax regulations, in Turkey, the most popular model is this one. To give some idea, 316i costs about euro40k, 320d euro51k and 328i euro59k. And all of them are the base prices (without any optional blabla). Additionaly, we pay approx. Euro1k tax every year for our autos.

Personally I kind of prefer the chrome aesthetics that the luxury offered and I'm not the biggest fan of the crazy sport look. There's also the fact that my bf has the msport with the gloss black aesthetics, KW suspension, bmw performace exhaust, etc. Didn't want the same thing:P

While the 320d & 330d are the popular choices here in the UK, after several years of owning an oil burner I just fancied the added refinement of a petrol once more. Thought about the 320i (for about as long as it took me to scan past it in the brochure) but hey... not getting any younger

How do you feel about your choice of Luxury over MSport? Did you consider the latter?

I ordered back in March '12 so my choice was a bit limited unfortunately. With no 328i M Sport available at the time, it was the SE (not worth it as I'd have added most of the extras the Lux has), the Modern (no way could I live with that interior) or the Luxury. If they'd been offering a 328i Sport Line I'd have gone for that, but for some reason BMW UK haven't released it

Funny thing is, while I like the front bumper and side skirts of the F30 M Sport, I'm not sold on the rear. The sculpted corners don't look right to me, but it's odd cos I quite like the rear of the 1 Series & 5 Series M Sport
