Apologies for off topic 330D/125D question

I posted in the wrong section originally.

Sorry for asking here but I know you are very informative when it comes to the F series.
I had my 2014 F21 125D remapped by Unicorndevelopments in Stockport on Thursday. The results were very impressive with 276bhp and 388 nm torque. I've just been informed that the 125D may in fact have the same gearbox set up as the 330D. If so then I am not really worried about the issues with the gearbox.

If anyone could confirm this one way or another I'd be very grateful.

Cheers.

Yeah he means lb/ft, standard torque is 450nm

OP there are several versions of the ZF 8AT gearbox, yours most likely has the 8HP45 with max torque of 500nm

330d & 335d both have the 8HP70 with max torque of 700nm:

According to Real OEM web site your 125d has the auto below.

It is not the same as the 330D.

Yes I have the dyno printout of 276bhp. On a standard run it gave 221.4 which is slightly over stock.

Ah so it's the 8HP50, still with 500nm max torque.

I think I will just have to be careful on how and when I put my foot down at low speeds. Will it be better/ safer to stay away from quick away from the lights type of driving?

At a peak of 390lb/ft, 528nnm, you are just over the gearbox rating. Should be fine with some mechanical sympathy, especially until engine and gearbox are up to operating temperature.

Thanks for the reassurance on that. I certainly would not abuse the box when it was cold. I thought it would be safe as it is only slightly above.
