Yep. E-brake, emergency brake, handbrake, parking brake... Generally, all of these terms are interchangeable.

In Europe (in Luxembourg at least) it's an option, included in the "storage pack" (pack rangement). A very useful one indeed..

Oh a cool feature I recently found was that if you press the unlock button on the key fob once, the interior lights come on in a white colour, and if you press it again, it dims to the standard yellow lights.
Also, something really minor that I noticed was that when the car is in reverse and the PDC screen is on, it will only disappear when you move a substantial distance forward. It stays on if you move a little forward, so it's very useful when getting out of a tight parking spot, so that you can always see how far to move instead of it turning off when you put it into first gear.. I'm not sure if these have been mentioned before.. |

I will try and take a pic when I get home later but if I was to guess I would say its 2 cube like compartments next to each other about 12"x12" each.

Funny, that's exactly where I keep my cleaning stuff too.

I would definitely order this option if I knew the consequences. My sunglasses lie on the center console, sliding, dropping to the floor at times. Unpleasent situation. |

There is a removable divider in the middle of the two compartments, so it can be made to be one. It's not totally flat where the divider was though, but I'm using it as one larger compartment for all my bits n bobs.

nor do we get the boot (trunk) release button, as pictured, here in the UK either, strange?? There is no way of opening the boot from within the vehicle without using the remote fob (which is usually in my pocket and hard to reach)

Hopefully this feature will become available for the US soon!!! Summer is getting really HOT and I really don't want to set the precondition feature everyday because I don't plan my lunch that far ahead.

Regarding the compass feature in the rear view mirror, I have a non nav equipped car with the premium pkg.
I've noticed when starting the car, the compass shows up, but then disappears. I'll have to try looking for that pinhole to see if I can activate it. Not that I would use it much, but good to know it's there. |
