M-Sport Retrofit Parts Required?

I am looking into installing m-sport bumpers and sideskirts on my F32. When I asked BMW about purchasing the OEM front bumper, they told me that in addition to the front bumper cover, I would also need to purchase a long list of other parts to retrofit the bumper.

I then went to look at aftermarket bumpers, and they all seem to be the bumper cover alone. I'm wondering if anybody knows if the other parts BMW told me I would need to purchase are completely necessary? Or if I could just purchase the bumper cover, the few trim pieces/grills, and mount it?

I really want to do this conversion, and I'm just confused. I don't wanna spend more money than I need to.

Here is the list of part #'s I got from BMW for the front end conversion...

Email Evan @ tischer bmw, ECS tuning may have as well, or you can go after market, Perpetual Racing Online has full kits (ship w all parts), I bought a few parts from them already, awesome, awesome service.

You can find them on the vendor section.

May even be cheaper for you to pick up at border then to do it through stealership.

Let me know if you need install services, I can get you in touch with a shop who did my conversion years ago on my e90, much cheaper then dealer, you can PM me, im also in Van

If you had an F30, BMW sells a kit called the Retrofit kit M Aerodynamic.
This kit only lacks the front and rear bumper cover.
The side skirts are included.

Sorry to see that it's not available for the F32

I did the full conversion earlier this year, but I got a complete front bumper (Ebay), and side skirts + complete rear bumper (OE).

As mentioned, the best bargains are sadly across the border.

Thanks guys. I will get in touch with Evan. I looked at the retrofit kit available on getbmwparts, but I'd have to get it shipped somewhere in Washington State and then pick it up. I'd probably end up paying roughly ~$600 just in duties/taxes to bring it back across the border. Needless to say, I'm really kicking myself for not spending the extra money to begin with for a 435 m-sport.

Did you purchase the Retrofit kit M Aerodynamic and also purchase the bumpers? What came with the front bumper you ordered from ebay?

Purchased a complete front bumper retrofit from Ebay (all parts were included).
Rear bumper and sides, purchased the OE BMW parts from Tischer.

Got those legally across the border, and only had to pay the taxes on the paid price, no duty fees.

I spoke with Evan and he wasn't willing to really help me out with the part numbers. Just said that the kit they sell has everything I would need. Bummer.

The OEM parts are made in Germany, aren't they? Can you share how you avoided paying duty?

Have the kit shipped to Washington and have it installed there.

This is probably my best option, and likely what I will be doing.

The OE parts are made everywhere in the world.

As for duty, I think that the custom officer at the border couldn't care less.
You go there with the invoice, they charge the taxes, then it's done.
