BMW 4 Series Coupe Has Private Reveal for BMW CCA Members

COMMENTS

Updated 7/7 with more photos (by plien).

Many BIMMERPOST members were in attendance at the BMW North America "Open House" closed-room event for BMW CCA members this past Friday in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. While great times were had by all from the various models and exhibits arranged for their visit, the highlight (and surprise) of the event was the reveal of the 4 Series Coupe to the group. This represented the first reveal of the 4 Series Coupe to 'the public' as Friday coincided with the online reveal of the 4 Series Coupe.

See below for some photos of the 435 xDrive revealed at the event. Thanks to Accelerometer, awong and dbs600 for sharing their pictures.

For more on the 4 Series, follow: http://www.bimmerpost.com/4-series/

It's a 428i M Sport still in camouflage.

But, we already know what the M Sport looks like: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=853135

Jason, I think it would be cool if you did a F30 and F32 comparison.

I think it's amazing how BMW's professional photos make the car look terrible, but these real photos make it look better. Autoblog's photos look much better than the official BMW pics as well. I think it looks a bit shorter here, which is a good thing. The M4 will probably look pretty nice.

yes correct.

It's a lame facelift/coupe-design :-(

It's funny how BMW took a step back in terms of differentiating the saloon from the coupe this time around, yet we've ended with a 3/4 series. The E90 and E92 were instantly visually distinguishable, but despite murmors of creating a new nameplate in 2006, nothing ever materialized.

I suppose they had the cart before the horse when they were toying with the idea of creating a separate moniker for the coupe. However, now that they've created it, the visual differences between the two hark back to the subtle differences of E46 yesteryear.
