Can I ask a personal question: which parts of the trip did you pay for? Does BMW pay anything for European delivery? e.g. the flight?
BMW doesn't really pay for anything except for a couple weeks of insurance in Europe.

BUT, you can save $$$ with ED on the price of the car. PM if you are interested on how it works.

Euro delivery is a big program for BMW. The Welt is in large part for ED. ED delivery cost is the exact same price as you bought the car off the dealer lot. And, I'm sure they ship to Australia. F30's are also built in Rosslyn, South Africa. I'd guess, most Australian F30's come from there since it's closer. But, all ED F30's are built in Munich.

You're right, it was not that good. I was disappointed. I made many bad food decisions in Germany. My advice to Americans, despite what your preconceived notions are, sausage in Germany is not an automatic win. I really wish I would have tried the dishes the other guy that posted recommended.

Definitely. I still rocking the Euro plates! I've had my CA plates for a month now.

Are you going to LTBMW's April 6th meet in the OC?

The museums were great. I wish I could have spent a full day in the Mercedes Museum, which is huge, and the Porsche museum. Both have complimentary audio devices, and I think factory tours. I just didn't have time.

Done ... added tour thread on the top of the list well done deserves first spot

PS. I must say you have done the ED the right way ... renting a car enjoying your Germany and Italy trip no worries about your new car being parked anywhere then taking delivery only at the end of your trip leaving your new car it in capable hands (BMW) to ship it home to you Bet you did not have any sleepless nights worrying about your rented car ... that is what insurance is for right

, and "we" Germans dont eat so many Sausages and Sauerkraut at all . The Hofbräuhaus is the Tourist Place Nr.1 ... the "Munich Citizens" wouldnt go there (allmost every traditional looking, native Guest is paid).

Anyway, i hope you had a good Time and enjoyed the Trip!
