Fredericton,NB here. 2013 328i luxury line. I have a couple of questions that probably are not suited for this thread, but I figured one of you fellow Canadian's would know the answers:

1. In the US, they have an option of a sport auto transmission with paddle shifters. I've read that this transmission accelerates the car faster than the standard transmission we get on the 328 here in Canada. Is there any truth to that?

2. Coming from a standard tranny in my 2011 328, I wanted to at least get the paddle shifters in my 2013 since I could no longer get the manual on the F30 328 x-drive. Why can't we get some of the options available in other countries?

Vancouver, BC - The hub where I always see F30 drivers, but mostly in Richmond.

Though so far only 328i Sportline in Havanna and Fineline Anthracite wood trim!

White 335i M-Sport in Toronto.
Can't speak for 328, but i have the paddles and they are fun from time to time. i actually enjoy down shifting with the paddle and upshifting with the shifter. as close to a manual as i can get after getting rid of my 6spd. loving this car so far!
