M Performance 6MT Knob

So I installed the M Performance knob today. Few things of note which I have not seen definitively said yet.

The knob seems to weight the same as the M-Sport knob.

The knob IS shorter than the M-sport knob by about...~.5 inch.

Removing the original knob:
1. boot, easy enough, people should figure this out easily
2. pulling the knob off...took A LOT of force. In fact, I clocked myself in the eyebrow with it LOL. no damage done, just hurt like a bitch.

worth it? YES. love the feel. love the look.

I like the feel of it. Very effortless maneuvering around the gates. It is just as heavy as the stock ZHP knob that comes with the M Sport.

Like the feel of the carbon fiber.

I enjoy mine as well...it's funny what you shared about hitting yourself in the face since Ive taken a couple shift knobs to the face while removing them I don't mind it ever since we had a tech shatter a rear view mirror AND the windshield removing a knob lol

Yeah, I left a decent mark on my eye, lol. and messed up a 800$ pair of raybans (but they are under warranty so I ordered a replacement pair for 25$ THANK GOD).

I knew there was a risk of hitting myself but still, I had to pull HARD. I’m 23, workout 5 times a week and consider myself to have an above average amount of strength, and I had to pull on that thing with all my might!

Worth the damage to my eye? Yes. plus now I can look badass at the bars JK lol

OP, just wondering what your opinion is on this knob and boot now that you've had it on for awhile?

I love it. It seems like a bit too much money, until you get it. I like the feel of it (very solid, precise throws) and the look of it fits the car very well.

It is a bit shorter than the ZHP knob that comes standard on the M-Sport too, which I like.

The boot stays surprisingly clean, and it fits the interior very well and does not look out of place.

I would recommend getting it.
