WiFi hot spot capability

This is in reference to my 2013 F30 328i. I've searched again and again but can't find anything. I though I read somewhere that this month an "upgrade" of some sort would be available to make those of us who have the whole BMW assist activated could make the vehicle itself a wifi hot spot for up to 4 or 5 devices. Anyone know anything? I just called my dealer's parts department and they hadn't heard of anything.

All I've seen is the hot spot adaptor pictured and described on "BMW.COM" but "BMW-USA.COM" doesn't have it listed at all and that's what our dealer's use.
