I came back out to the car this morning, tried again, and got a connection. I have no explanation. I know that the cable was on securely yesterday because I need a pliers to get enough grip to remove it.

I'm sitting in the car now grabbing some documentation (which I apparently deleted yesterday). As soon as I grab everything, I'll switch off wifi, reconnect the enet cable, and start making my backups. Wish me luck.

Coding went fairly well and I was able to make the key changes that I wanted.

However, I am having trouble changing certain values. I want to make the cameras and DVD work at any speed. (This is for demo purposes, not actual use. I did DVD in motion for my Audi and never used it after proving that it worked.) When I try to change the numeric values, it seems to not "stick." Does anyone have any ideas?

Finally, my warm feet want to offer special thanks to Shawn to for letting me know that the engine and the climate system could be running while I'm coding!

When you change a Werte Value, you change just that, not the Drop-down box too, and immediately afterwards you must hit the icon in the upper right corner of the lower window that looks like a door with a yellow arrow pointing left, or hit Ctrl-Enter, to save the Werte Value. Then use the Floppy Disc icon on the toolbar to save all FDL changes.

Its been a little while since visiting this thread... Anyone figure out enabling Office and internet features through phone's bluetooth? I have the menu options showing up but haven't got any further... Office only shows my contacts, no sms or anything. When trying to access internet, it says please activate data connection (even though the option is checked when pairing the phone).

Thanks!

Is this applicable to F30? I am using 3.22 plus 48.3 with the code sent to me by Andy just 3 days ago!

If you have working 3.22.5 and 48.3, you do not need to upgrade again.

Is there an option to just code the reverse check only or if code the check off then its for all lights in car?
I think you can try this:

REM>3061>RFS_L_IS_LED
REM>3061>RFS_R_IS_LED
set to active

or

REM>3061>RFS_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG
REM>3061>RFS_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG
REM>3061>RFS_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG
REM>3061>RFS_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG
set to nicht_activ

hi bro shawn, can pass me the link for the orphan files and do I just copy into the same folders as 48.3? Thanks bro.

Just wondering... Why would someone need the new version of the software and/or the psdzdata if they have a 2012 F30? Or is it only for newer builds...? Thanks.

Hello everyone again!
I have an issue I don't know if it can be solved by coding or more likely by programming.
My Driver side seats are moving forward when I push it back words and the same opposite way when I'm tryin to lower it (goes up)
And my moon roof is nut functioning at all no matter how I try to press the button.
Does anybody know anything about the programming or where should I try to find solution for it?
(Its an F13 with panoramic moon roof and comfort seats)
Thx!

some additional details would be helpful.... e.g. internal error, where is this message? When you try to code and the error pop out in eSys, or you coded everything and you see the internal error on idrive?

Some screenshot would be helpful

And after so many months... from 48.1 until now 49.0... I'm still waiting for my dealer to let my car in for re-coding

I have the same issue, see my thread here, with screenshot: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=809851

Everything codes ok, just an error when going into BMW Live/Online. It attempts to open for about a minute, then comes up the error in the picture. Internet browsing works fine so I know the tethering is working ok.
