F30 335i Delivery time?

If I order my car at a dealer coming from the factory, how long will delivery take?

It all depends on your dealer. If they manage to snag you a priority production slot from Germany, it'll take about 2 months until you have it in your hand.

If your CA is shitty and just sticks you in the end of the Queue for a South Africa build, prepare to wait 3-4 months for your car.

I got lucky, CA got me a production slot that went into production in Germany the day after I put through the order, so it'll prob be a total of about 5 weeks from when I placed the order to when I get the car.

Make sure to badger your dealer if you're gonna do the custom build.

6-8 weeks if coming from Germany and about 12 weeks if coming from South Africa.

Or considerably less if they're able to grab a stock production unit that's already scheduled and/or find one that matches your specifications enroute. Tons of variables here that can affect it.

First and foremost, have the dealer confirm that they have available allotment before committing to anything. Too many take orders for cars they can't even sell.

My recent order took almost exactly 60 days from order to production at Regensburg to delivery.
