Return luxury line w/ sport line wheels for lease?

I have a leased 328xi I just picked up and plan on putting on a set of sport line wheels immediately. Can I return the luxury line with sport line wheels? Dealer called BMW NA and they said no but I'm losing faith in the dealer.

I really like the sport line wheels and I'm putting them on but I'd hate to sit on the luxury line wheels in case BMW requires them at lease return.

Anyone else do this?

Most likely you will have to return the car with the OEM equipment. But just swap out the wheels and dump the lux wheels in garage? and the sport line wheels look ugly imo.

I'm leaning towards holding the lux line wheels in the garage and then swap out the wheels back at lease end.

Suprised you don't like the sport wheels- i think they have a sharp look. I also like the M Sport wheels a lot too. I found it frustrating that on the 335 luxury line you can upgrade to 19s but not on the 328...

yeh the msport wheels are nice. you could also throw on some custom wheels on it to pimp it out instead of the sport wheels for the sport line

Usually just has to be comparable equipment so I would think it's fine but don't listen to anyone on here, get confirmation from BMW FS. They own your car not the dealer..

ill hold on to the lux wheels for you and give them back to you at the time of your lease return... they might have about 15k on them or so by then  but hey you save storage space/costs

They would never notice IMO. As long as you return a RF tire. When I have turned in a lease, and was getting a new BMW, they just looked at mileage.

All comes down to the dealer. Just return it to the right dealer and there will be no issues.
