I did exactly as you wrote but still not working. As a date in the VM I set 1st of July 2016, maybe another date is needed? |

I'm having the same problem .. 2 different machines. Pin loop... Setting the VM date back and uninstalling / reinstalling says 'date manipulation detected.'
I'll try a new vm stuck on 11/1/17 later. Weird... |

Thanks. I'm going in for service soon, so I wanted to vo code everything back to avoid any warranty conversation. I wanted to do it Thursday but got busy and put it off until today .. great timing.
Fortunately I do have a VM snapshot from 11/30 when I last used it. I started this snapshot, immediately disabled the windows time service, and successfully launched the program / did my coding. All clear. I took another snapshot of it right after I disconnected. So I'm good at least until the BMW software is no longer compatibile with these programs. I'm happy to help as it seems like the guy dropped a logic bomb on the community. Not cool, but that's fair if he's pissed about others making $ from his work. That's what software licenses are for though... I'm happy to contribute my software expertise towards a better solution. It seems relying on the current maintainer may be a sinking ship .. email one guy and wait indefinitely for a response .. I dunno if I'm into that. thanks. I saw your comment today but yesterday I was able to install 3.26.1 with EsysLauncher 2.0.1 and make it work. Would it be a problem if I use this launcher instead of 2.5.3? What are the benefits of using 2.5.3? I used to use the 3.26.1 with the jar file but due to trimmed CAFDs, I was not able to code anything and therefore I needed the TM Launcher. Tried this on a new install and date of 1/1/2016 and still doesn't work. Repeat token activation comes up. At this point just waiting on Tokenmaster to reply to my email since I donated.

I have an old laptop, so I did a fresh install of windows 7, E-Sys 3.28.1 and Launcher Premium Setup 2.6.2 with a date on 30 /03/2017 (my download was at that date) and everything is working fine. The token created has an expiration date of 31/12/2017...so all this was planned years ago

My old laptop was out of battery, so the date on it was 2000-01-01, I set to 2017-03-30 when installing Windows 7 and I didn't touch the bios. I used the PSDZ Date version 63.3.003

Hi, did you find a solution yet for this problem? I had the same issue and thought there was something wrong with my Windows partition. I'm using this also in Parallels on a Macbook. And I only code when I'm getting a new car or when my dealer wiped everything...
So I deleted everything and asked Shawn for the latest version... Installed everything (ESysLauncherPremiumSetup_2.8.2_Build_155 and E-Sys_Setup-3.27.1_RC_b44813) but now nothing happens when I try to start Esys launcher... I'm running W10 in a Parallels VM on a Macbook.... |

Esys not working ? - May be try this option
I am using
E-Sys_Setup-3.28.1-46869 ESysLauncherPremiumSetup_2.8.2_Build_155 Psdzdata_ISTA+_4.14.14_lite When I used the Esys last time in December 2018, it used to show a warning message that the token is valid only till 31st December 2018. So I expected the Esys wont work in 2019. Today I have launched the esys premium and it repeatedly kept asking me for pin again and again. So I have decided it stopped working. Then I used the below method 1. Uninstall esys premium launcher 2. Uninstalled esys 3. Shut down the laptop (Windows 10 Pro OS) 4. Restart the laptop 5. Change system date and time to 12/13/2018 (back date to December) 6. Shut down the laptop and restart 7. Install Esys 8. Install Esys premium launcher 9. Open Esys premium launcher … strangely this time it didn't ask for path to store the token file instead it directly asked for pin number I gave it 10. There you go … Magic !!! it worked Able to code my reverse light flicker issue and turned off ASD Try it and see if it works for you guys. Thanks, Kishore. |

I can see why it would work. We know that if you turn back the date on your computer that the launcher will detect it and still not function. With a clean install to a computer that the date has already been turned back before the install there's no date change for it to detect.

OK so I'm trying to get E-sys launcher pro to run with no success.
What I have is ESysLauncherPROSetup_2.8.2_Build_162 and E-Sys_Setup-3.30.0-49694 with BFU_XODE.EST. I installed JavaSetup8u221, and my .Net Framework is v4.8. I'm running latest VMware Fusion with Windows 10 Pro, and I have tried to run the software under both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows with exactly the same result: I open the Launcher Pro window, select esys location, add the token location, the token verifies OK, the expiration date is march 2020, but when I click "Launch now" the launcher just exits, no error message, nothing. I tried 4GB VM memory allocation, and 10GB, with no difference. Any suggestions ? |
