First BMW
2012 328i Luxury Line
Black on Black with that dark brown wood interior
almost 800KM on my first 2 tanks 50city/50hwy in eco and comfort mode
I have to curb my enthusiastic review

as I'm upgrading from a 10 year old Toyota Camry

Haha, except that you are a brit so you're, just like me, getting ripped off when paying for nav prof so we're both getting the smaller screen. The BMW:s seem dirt cheap in the states.

The only differences I can see to mine are that I will have the Sport Auto (slightly different stick, leather surround, flappy paddles) and the Windscreen with Grey Shade Band. How do you like the wood? It looks good on that picture, I haven't seen it IRL yet desipite being in 6 or 7 F30's and ordering one with it in!! Bloody line restrictions... carconvert, whereabouts are ya, Ajax? Oakville? Mississauga? Those houses don't look like Toronto houses, at least not anywhere between the 401 and Lakeshore and the 427/DVP.....

Question for the TC:

What kind of phone do you use?

I am confused by what options are required to get good connectivity fo music and contacts.

Last thing i want to do is drop $950 on BMW assist and enhanced bluetooth.....and lose more of the minimal armrest space. But from the poor explanation offered on the BMW website I am left thinking that without that option, the connectivity will be much less user-friendly.

So if you connect a phone with the USB, can you scroll songs and playlists and call people just by saying their name?
