Estoril Blue w/Beige interior?

Has anyone had a chance to see EB w/beige interior in real life? Does it look good? I am planning to order this combination but so far I've only seen it on the website and colors there are way off in some cases.

No one has seen EB except in pics yet.

You'll have to wait until members start getting their 2013s in.

I have owned an Estoril Blue BMW M3 for over 15 years. Somewhere I remember seeing a side by side color splotch comparing the original Estoril Blue to version 2, and they were very similar, but not exactly the same. From what I understand, it comes down to the change from an oil based paint, to a water based one.

Estoril Blue is an excellent color. My M3's seats are closer to a saddle brown, than beige, but I would expect beige to look fine.

The problem in my mind is not the seats, but the trim colors. I don't like the half black/half beige dashboard.

EB has been available in M cars and M-Sport packaged cars for some time. Just not in F30 guise yet.

I saw a 1 series M-Sport some weeks ago at my dealer and it looked FANTASTIC, the metallic flecks glistening in the sunshine.

Not true. Plenty of us saw it at the auto shows. We saw it. I loved it, the wife said, "No way. It's too flashy". Bummer for me.

If you'll follow the link below to a Dutch review of the 125i you'll see some photo's on the right hand side (click to enlarge) showing an EBII 125i with beige interior.

I know it's no 3'er but it give's you an idea. I quite like it.

I would prefer saddle, but since the EB is lighter than my LeMans, I suppose it also makes sense to match it with a lighter shade of tan/brown.

I am not too crazy about aluminum + beige look though, unless it's a Porsche. But I am also not sure about EB + wood combo.

Estoril Blue first appeared in 1996. BMW switched to water based paints in 1996. Estoril Blue was always water based. I owned a 1997 Esotril Blue M3 for 6 years. Nice color. Looking forward to seeing a 2013 M Sport in EB.

I'm not sure any color paint could make the beige look good. It looks like a minitower PC, circa 1993.

I agree. Beige interior doesn't appeal to me in any car. EB on saddle would be a nice combination.

I had the wood/saddle brown in my E92 montego blue 335i, and thought it looked great. Estoril Blue is lighter than Montego blue, so I'm OK going with a lighter color this go around, and I thought it looked OK with wood as the main trim element. Couldn't do black as it's too hot in Phoenix.

Mm, yes, saddle looks good. I'd want to go even a bit darker if possible. I'd love Saddle + Estoril (hate that we'd have to do Luxury or Modern or whatever to get it.. so if they make a 6spd Touring I'll go M-Sport and black).

The worst part about the beige is the plastics. Yeah, it looks bad on the carpet and seats, but on the lower dash, just... blech!

My E36 M3 had Dove Grey interior, which is not everyone's cup of tea, but I liked it. Light interiors can be REALLY good-looking, but they just need to be a color that doesn't look so cheap.

I remember dove, that was a good color. I nearly bought a used Avus Blue/Dove M3 before buying my M Coupe instead.

I had the same issue, that why I just got black.

I want to see this combo too, especially with the leatherette. I have cream beige right now in my e92, but I know that it's much lighter than other BMW beiges so the venetian is prob not the same

I think Estoril Blue with a Oyster-ish color would be ideal.

exactly- oyster/black. heck, even the everest grey would suffice. i dont get why bmw has limited us to black, beige or red, especially for an msport

I don't know why they did that either. The only thing I can think of is that it lowers production costs.
