Which F30 Line? and Why?
I picked the Luxury line because of the chrome lines around the windows and the font. Imperial blue outside and beautiful saddle brown interior which gives an elegant look with the amazing wheels 18" and to me they look the best out of all lines

Luxury because Sport isn't available on a 328i as it is a "budget" line here.
Modern Line has a fecking ghastly interior! SE, well, I wanted more stuff and it's a bit plain James when there are different stylings on offer. ES (or poverty spec) because nobody wants that and it's 316d only I think. M Sport, wasn't on the market at the time and for me, Luxury makes more sense although I am a fan of M Sport on the F30! Luxury, because I like it. The chrome on Glacier Silver works well and it allows for my interior preference.

Luxury because Saddle Brown was only available on this line.
Wanted the M Sport but it wasn't available at that time.

I like the interiors of the luxury line (woods, colour options - just not the old fella rims), and the rims of the sports line. If I could get an M Sport package exterior with a luxury interior I could be happy. If I could save the additional cost of the M Sport package and get the Sports Line rims on a Luxury (keeping the chrome/aluminium trim) I could be even more happy!
Don't like the Flintstones look of the wood on the Modern Line. Would also prefer that the wood/aluminium trim was not on the door pulls. Will the aluminium be super hot in the summer to the touch? There is an old saying (coming form an older guy); It is much easier to sell an old guy a young guys car than a young guy an old guys car. I just can't stand those "old guy" rims on the luxury package! Last edited by Stephen5242; 08-11-2012 at 09:39 PM.. |

Sport Line cause you should never drive a BMW without sport seats.

Luxury because.... ...I couldn't get Saddle leather in the M-Sport and beige and black blow. ...I couldn't stomach the boy-racer Sport line interior treatment. ...I couldn't be caught dead in the Modern line interior. ...I wanted chrome window trim and BMW wouldn't let me have it elsewhere. ...The 3 Series is a luxury car and I wanted all the luxury features. The only thing I miss terribly are the sport seats. My E90 M-Sport had them and they really hold you down on a hard turn. I need to get something for my F30 or I'll go mad. In the end, though, BMW forced me into a Luxury line because all the others had limitations on interior color/design that I could not live with. BJ |

Sport. It fits my driving style and I really liked the looks of the exterior and the functionality of the seats, along with the lowered suspension.

I feel sorry for you US guys as you are VERY restricted with the lines! In the UK, I can have (and do have) Sports Seats, Sport Auto, could have sport or M Adaptive Suspension, etc...
Basically, I can drive what is an M Sport to you guys but in a Luxury guise! Not rubbing it in or anything

M-Sport because I wanted beige and wood trim (and a few other things as well!). And don't feel bad for us mate, I think most of us are very happy with what we can get (it's just the waitiing that blows).

Sport line... I am getting old, so the older I get the younger I want to look!
