Aftermarket accessories
Quick question. How does the pricing on some of the aftermarket accessories work?
Lets say i purchase the blacked out grills, is that something that can be installed prior to delivery and can be rolled into my lease? or do i have to pay out of pocket? Would it be residualized?

if they are bmw factory parts, such as the M-grills, the body kit, the tail spoiler, etc then yes most dealers will install them prior to pick up and roll it into a lease. You will be paying a lot of mark up for purchasing them through a dealer and having them install it all...
just my .02 but save yourself a few bucks, buy the parts separately and then sell them off the car at the end of the lease. The car will still be mid model at that point and these parts will still get a few bucks, but again, thats just my take on it.

Well, i found out some new info. BMW will shortly be rolling out a new program called Port-Installed Accessory Program. Basically BMW will put the performance parts you want on at the port and some of the stuff will be residualized. I think i am going to do this and just have them put the msport grill on for $175. Also, i can get the Msport exhaust installed for $1375, 400 of which would be residualized, now i just need to decide if the msport exhaust is better than the regular 335 exhaust which i thnik sounds pretty decent.
