Any more recent confirmation that MY18 will be the last 3-Series Gran Turismo for the US? None in the upcoming G-lineup?

Don't know, and I'm not concerned. I won't be ready for a new car until MY 2025 at least.

And I am not concerned about MY2025, since I will probably be six-feet-under by then, or at best, drooling in my autonomous vehicle. MY2018 is a bit more relevant...

I may beat you there. At any rate, I drive around 4500 miles a year, and like to get my money's worth out of my cars, so If I'm still here eight years hence I'll start looking.

With the latest update from "ynguldyn", it looks like the End Of Production for the F34 will be July 2020, so the 3GT will be hanging on a bit longer. Hopefully it will continue to be available in the US. I can now pencil it in on my dance card as the just-in-time replacement for my F31 (which has an EOP in June 2019, one year too early for me, drat) for MY2020.
