I'd love a JB4 no wire tap alternative. Currently running the BMS stage1. But a catless-DP and a few more pounds of bosst from the JB4 wouldn't hurt.

Well, I guess this is the alternative then. I can't make it any simpler.
You can even buy a plug that fit rigth on. But you may have to extend the wires from JB4.

It could be easily done to creat an extension with a jumper in between... i think the current design was for convenience. I agree though a plug would be a nicer option if one has an easy method for routing the wires.

12v power is used so JB can remember your map settings.
so you wont have to select map 1 every time you start the car,
or if you use anything other than 0 or 1 it'll remember that map
