Mines low due to me getting train to London / Manchester, using my MTB for work (must change tyres lol) and working abroad a fair bit - the joys of Columbia at end of month.

Birmingham sucks btw.

I have to do Wolves to Birmingham.

Edit: do a car swap for a while, we have pretty much same cars

Lol
lmfao @ cottaging

Birmingham is a major crap hole, particularly Small Heath. Its like driving through a different country! Fortunately normally I only have to go to an office just next to the airport so not all the way in!

Next time I'm heading north I'll swing by for a cuppa and your car

lol I detest Birmingham airport, it's my local airport and unfortunately use it a lot.
The roads around it are particularly abysmal.

10,900 miles since the 21st June 2014. That does include a trip to Poland though.

Driving to Romania next month so there will be another big hike in miles....

What??? why do you need a car for 4k miles a year? It would have been much cheaper to use taxi, bus, train etc or just rent a car if you need it a bit more.

Mine is just 7 months old and got almost 11000 miles

New car left dealership on 1st September and detailer on 3rd.

Now on 3900 miles, so about 5400 by the time we get home from the Algarve a week today.

It will not carry on like this, unfortunately!

Hugely appreciated. Mainly gently driven, just eats the miles. ProNav highly reliable. A/c works nicely, 30C today. Enjoying the music which we downloaded, and podcasts from the iphone ( not had this facility before). Currently on 43.3mpg (indicated) on the trip. Comfort access working nicely. Suitcases have appreciated the slightly bigger rear end than previous model. Pity we can't use the magic lights here. Very satisfied.

Typical....the users that do the miles and would get the most use out of extra power have 4 cylinder engines, and the ones that hardly warm up an engine and could have done with a 316i have six cylinder engines.

It's a second car used to ferry kids to school, shopping etc. Where we live public transport doesn't work. The point of having this car is the independence it provides
