+1 for manual F30s. I ordered mine with manual, and Ze Germans didn't believe that a Yank would want manual, so they sent me an automatic. No thanks, I said. They scrambled to find me a manual transmission car. There were two available in the country (this was 2012).

It's sad the only way to get a manual is by special order or buying a used one and finding a used one is like searching for a needle in a hay stack... Little by little they are fading them out. BMW has great manual trans, which sucks that they push more for the paddle shifts.

I got lucky, placed my order in late November 2014 and received the car the second week of January 2015, 5 weeks a head of schedule. The sales rep at the dealer hooked me up, great guy and very patient with me.
