I'm going to assume the Xenon retrofit would be out of my price range based on what I've seen other people spending, but I would be VERY interested in surround cameras or NBT.....

Sad we don't have any skilled technician to install xenon or angel eyes in Australia. I wonder why its not included in skill shortage list for immigration purpose!

I would love a xenon retrofit as well, provided it is at the right cost and someone can install it for me. Maybe we should bulk buy and get the guy to fly in from Singapore to install it on our cars.

I don't think even a group buy would suffice for the cost of the xenon retrofit. It costs approximately $4xxx to get done. Totally not recommended.

So how much are the NBT kits? Just put up a price, if it's good, I'll go for it.

Hi mate, the NBT kit starts at $2200, for the screen, headunit, remote coding and emulator. This does require you to have a OBD cable and Esys software. There is also an option to add a touch controller for an additional $450. Shipping would be a standard $160, DHL express 3 day shipping.

Let us know what you think.

I was wondering, is the screen itself different to the CIC Pro nav screen? I might see if I can track down the part numbers when I get 10min.

What would it cost to do whatever you need to do to change the old NBT controller to the touch controller?

I believe you have the CIC High screen with your Nav Pro, both the screens are practically the same. Slightly different, but compatible regardless. It would only make a difference if your going from the Business Nav (6.5") to NBT (8.8").

The CIC headunit does not support touch input, only works with the NBT headunit.

The touch controller is only compatible with the new generation NBT headunit...that's why its being offered as an option with the retrofit kit...which headunit do you have?

You don't need that mate!

I have the old NBT unit, the one right before the touch controller.

Don't worry, too hard!

So, back to my original question.

What would it cost to do whatever you need to do to change the old NBT controller to the touch controller?
