Average on the clock: 59.7mpg! A bit of change from 40.1mpg! So I can do it, no prob! But can I keep it up? I doubt it! N.B. I wasn't using cruise control (stop & go), will try another time. |

I have had a 320d ED company car for just over a week now - first real test a trip to Telford and back total trip approx 200 miles.
On the way up stayed at about 70, way back 80 with a mad 30 seconds in sports mode at the M6 Toll Booth I averaged 66.7 MPG for this trip , my previous car an Insignia averaged 45 if I was lucky - unfortunately its a company car so they see the benefit of my easy driving ! Roll on a trip to Spain using my own fuel - I will then eak out max fule economy ! |

I have just filled mine up after 714 miles with 55.76ltr and I make my consumption to be 58.5mpg, the car though tells me it did 63.4mpg
I have the F30 Sport with 5900 on the clock and on this tank I have been driving like a Nanna mainly in eco pro mode with a mixture of motorway, country and city driving. I also have had the aircon permanently on. Since I have had the car I have averaged 55.5mpg with the worst tank being 52.6 and the best being 59.2mpg. I'm well happy with that (I should say my boss is) as my previous car only averaged 42.5mpg. |

I'm in a 320d ED hire car today and it has about 5,900 miles on the clock. Long range OBC hasn't been reset from day one, and was reading 55.6mpg for those miles when I picked it up. After 30 miles of steady A9 driving (quite busy, so speed was averaging around 45mph) trip computer was reading over 74mpg. After 90 miles of mixed driving came into home at 60.7mpg for the trip, and 55.8mpg on the long term readings. Will be interesting what it does over the next couple of days. HighlandPete |
