I have quite the opposite. I cannot find top tier unless I travel way out of my way. I just found an Exxon station close to my new office. I'll try and use that for now. In the meantime I was throwing in Techron every 2-3k miles.

I try to stick to Shell if I can help it. Shell is Top Tier and I find their stations are usually better than average. I consider other Top Tier stations, or Sunoco acceptable substitutes if required. Everything else I am using under protest.

All majors are Top Tier as far as I know. Many cut rate gasolines are also Top Tier. I believe you can find them at www.toptier.com .. Those who say Top Tier isn't about the octane, it's about the detergency are correct. At least there are a few things you can use to evaluate your gasoline. I drive a diesel now and BWM wants 51 cetane diesel. Nobody in the US claims to have 51 cetane diesel. In fact there's very little out there about diesel.
