Connected Drive not always working

I just picked up a 2015 228i xDrive with the technology package and it seems like the Live Traffic and BMW Online doesn't always work.

Is this something normal or could it be due to network congestion? Yesterday, it was working all fine till the afternoon and it stopped working for few hours then came back in the evening. Today on the way to work, it stopped working again.
