US Mill Works (front license mount) - Any Pictures of Installation?
I am thinking of purchasing front license mount from US Mill Works for 2013 BMW 335i xDrive Sport Line (not M Sport).
http://www.usmillworks.com/bmw_front..._tow_hook.html Any experiences? Any difficulties with Park Distance Control (PDC)? My vehicle will have PDC. Pictures greatly appreciated. |

I don't know how it will affect PDC or the like since I don't have it outfitted on my vehicle but I would suggest you contact them direct. When I was looking to purchase and had a question, they responded within 24hrs. P.S. They've got many, many pics of BMWs, Porsche's, etc., etc. on their site. Many thanks for the picture (very nice F30 by the way). I spoke to Brad at US Mill Works today. Great guy. He also mentioned that an improved Lightened Kit will be shipped.
Order has been placed. |

Here are some close ups...
The mount is very well manufactured and the mounting was quick and simple.
At first I couldn't get over the off-centered look, but it is growing on me. It is a pity that the bumper came with two dimples for the plate mount: even if there are no holes, it is not smooth.

I have the US Millwork plate and I actually ended up pulling it off (and running no plate) due to interference with the PDC on the M-sport front bumper.
I was able to get the PDC to not react, but it was very finnicky. There were times when it would be OK and times when it would constantly trigger the sensors. I spent a lot of time trying to move it out of the path, and the best positioning seemed to be to have the plate completely parallel to the axles of the car, as opposed to normal to the bumper surface (angled facing outwards). If I put it on I'll try to snap pictures.

The mount does have full lateral adjustment capabilities; however, I do see how it would be a problem setting it just right. I also see that they are not recommending it for the M-Sport with PDC. If you already ordered the mount - try it. If it doesn't work, they have a full refund policy. Dmitry

From their website:
BMW 3-Series Ordering Tips: F30 M-Sport owners: bracket not recommended for cars equipped with front parking sensors (it will trip them). Once again no solution... |

I think its pretty ugly for the plate position.
so far I think only the evo looks good with off center front plate
