I am yet to see any 340i or 440i around where I live, would be cool to see an EBII one of these around as it would be something different, especially with the dual exhaust pipes.

I love my car the way it looks at the moment, still unsure what to do next to be honest. Might get it detailed and make it stand out even more!

Agreed, also mine of the other colour options rang my bell, now on my second EBII.

Looks fantastic, rear boot spoiler in CF and CF mirror covers would be my immediate choices, would look great on that colour...

EBII still looks great, it was one of my top choices for my car but considering the past 3 cars in the family have been blue and my neighbour 2 doors down has an EBII 3 series, I wanted a change from the blue.

Either way, I'm really happy I went with Melbourne Red.

EB2 is common aka popular because it's a bright, different to a sea of grey and not available on non m spots. 2 in a row for me, lovely colour. Would not hesitate to get again, but yes, there are a lot of them now.

It appears common because it's a stand out colour in a sea of a bland choice of grey, white and black variants. It's not that common in these parts and I'm near three dealers and BMW UK headquarters. I don't know if it's the colour or style of the car but it occasionally attracts racer w$nkers etc more so than the other cars I drive. This apart, I love the colour so much more than the MG and black I had previously. There is not a huge BMW palette of colours available and I'm currently drawn to colour that I see on newer Lexus vehicles it's a silver/bronzy hint of green! I've had 3 Lexus in my time and I'm not going back. - I'm also trying out my new 4/3 camera today so just an excuse for yet another Estoril Blue II posting! so apologies for the neat sparkle setting CazuaLLUK !

This thread is exactly what pissed me off with my 330d EB11. There were so many 1s and 3s about in that colour it was unreal... At least where I stay.

I went mineral grey with red interior this time on the 340i and am very happy with my choice....

However when I see a nice clean EB11 car I am always a little jealous. There is no denying it's a stunning colour that suits the 3 series very well.

You will always have some spec regrets I suppose.

Didn't someone once post on here, following a visit to the BMW factory in Germany, that even the guide commented how much the UK like EB, when an EB F3x came down the line saying that's probably for the UK, they usually are...?!

Estoril Blue-boring

Yes Estoril Blue is popular. Why don't BMW do a proper Red, like the Audi Red.

Have to agree. Was very tempted with MR but it's just a bit flat IMO. Audi red is a lovely colour.

I have eB2 and love it but it is a bit common now so won't be getting it again. White too is also very popular. Funny how silver, the default colour of the noughties, is now fairly rare on a new car. A friend of mine just ordered a silver A6 and the dealer said it was retro!
