Best options for better bass?
So I've had my car about a month now and really am unhappy with the car audio, what are my best options for better sound mainly with the bass? I have been looking and not much popping up for me for ideas.. I have a center speaker front tweeters and front and rear door speakers, not sure how f that's stick or hifi..but any help getting me some better sound would be much appreciated!!

If u have a center speaker you have hi fi at least. IMHO your best bet for better bass is installing a separate amp and a trunk sub.this is easy with hifi and the harness sold by Technic who is one of the forum members. You can also replace your existing amp with a multichannel amp that will run a sub and the rest of ur existing speaker with more authority. Good luck

My vote would be SWS or BavSound underseat upgrades with PNP Bimmertech amp.

I find the stock bass to be sufficient if your amp is programmed with the right sound file, but everyone is different. I would suggest that you install Bav stage 1 and amp first and see how you like them.

If you have Harmon Kardon or planning on getting bimmertech amplifier, u can get the 2 ohm version. If you have hifi and planning on keeping the stock amp, you will need a 4 ohm version.

Hi I've just bought a 4 series gran coupe, no HK and not Hifi just the base audio so no amplifier. I have already got a fairly powerful amp and sub woofer from another car which I want to reuse. How would I go about getting a line out, remote and power to the boot? do I need to splice any wires? I'm just looking for the simplest way to do this? Thanks
