Another will it fit (but I searched first!)

I have a line on some wheels and tires from a local seller and I’m nervous about fitment. I’ve searched the forums and can’t find anyone that’s asked about this specific setup. If it’s out there already, please forgive me for missing it. According to him the specs are F: 18x8.5 et38 with a 225/35/18 tire and R: 18x10 et28 with a 265/35/18 tire. Will they fit? I’m not an expert but I thought the fronts should have a different aspect ratio than the rears if staggered? He has an e92 and they’re currently on the car so they seem to be working for him. If they fit that will they fit my f30 (rwd m sport, stock suspension)? It’s a good deal if they’ll work so I’d really appreciate any feedback I can get. Thanks in advance!

You will need to run -3 degrees of camber in the rears. The fronts should be no issue.

My specs are 19x9.5 et25 in the rears with -2.4 and a 255/35/19 tire.

Those wheels will poke out about another 20mm more than mine. You will have some serious rubbing issues.

Generally, any wheels that work on E9x will work on F3x.

With that said, the fronts are only 2mm more extended than stock F3x wheels, which is perfectly fine, even unnoticeable. The rears are not even close to working, extending an extra 3.8cm (~1.5 inches). Do you have a pic of these wheels on the guy's E92?

Are those genuine BBS? I don't see either of those specs on the BBS website for RGR wheels (those are RGRs, right)?

They have 18 x 10 ET25 (pretty close)
18 x 8.5 ET22 or ET13 (not close)
18 x 7.5 ET49

Tirerack shows these two as proper fitment for F30:
18 x 8.5 ET38
18 x 9 ET45

So clearly the BBS website doesn't list everything that they make...

However, E9x and F3x use pretty much the same offsets, so if it fits on an E9x it should fit F3x. Any idea how much camber he's running?

I'm honestly not sure if they're real. I checked the BBS site too and didn't see them. Was going to give them a good inspection when I checked them out in person but since they won't work for my car there's no point in going to look at them.

They might still work if you're willing to run a bunch of camber and possibly deal with a little rubbing... That's up to you, however, I wouldn't purchase these..
