Good lord that is ugly.

I'm sure BMW is happy that the 20 people who fit the demographic for this car will buy one though.

Will it have a better interior compared the F30 sedan, like the 5GT has over the F10?

I'm sure BWW couldn't care less what I think but the side vent on this and 4 series are ridiculous. I'm predicting dismissal sales.

The 3 Series variants all share a very similar front end (as seen on the 3GT). But, the 4 Series Coupe will get a significantly sleeker and sportier front fascia to set it apart.

The 4 Series Coupe has always been known to have its headlights also connecting to the kidney grilles.

In the mid-90s, BMW tried selling a 3 Series hatchback in Canada. Very few were sold. The 5er GT has been another dud here.
I do not believe this 3er GT hatchback would sell well in North America. How many luxury hatchbacks do you see on North American roads ? GM is having a really tough time giving away the Volt hatchback ! Perhaps the Chinese market would welcome the 3er GT ?

I do not understand why 5er and 3er GT models look clunky compared to the Audi A7. The black trim on the vent is not cool.

I'm not fan of GT but I am only fine with BMW 6 series GC. Check 6 series GC with Vossen rims, it look nice!

I approve of this car. Much more sleek than the 5GT. Don't like the side vent though

Acura ruined their beautiful and well selling 3G TL and TL-S for the atrocious 4G TL. The forum (which I know only represents like 1% of buyers) was like WTF and the market responded with WTF.

I feel like BMW is doing that to our cherished 3. Learn from other people's mistakes BMW!

edit I also owned an e36 318ti, and that hatchback was ugly then and this hatch hasn't improved. end rant.

Whereas the 5GT is somewhat less attractive than a Panamera, I actually like this 3GT more than that car, aesthetically speaking. I suppose that's faint praise. But they've definitely made some progress with the greenhouse.

As with the 4, I'm not sure I "get" the new fender vent element, but the satin one helps deflect the attention at least.
