Powerflex bushes BMW F Series

Powerflex now have assorted bush inserts to tighten up rear subframe and diff mountings for Bmw F2x anf F3x.....

https://www.powerflex.co.uk/road-ser...s+-3189/1.html

May try rear s/frame bush inserts and perhaps just the lower part 1st to see if it keeps rear s/frame location in check w/o any added NVH

Should be fine, the M3/4 has no bushes between the subframe and body.

Smee - not sure yet.

Definitely 1920 and 1921 for both sets of s/frame bushes.

Looking at 1927, being single sided for diff mount, made me think I may just put in lower insert aka part "B" to begin with of PFR5-1920 and 1921 and see how it is.

Then, if I want more, I will install the upper insert [Part A] of PFR5-1920 and 1921 at a later stage.

Am I right in thinking you're the guy who did the rear suspension mod ?

Putting the f31 underbody braving on an f30 - if so how you finding it - was thinking of doing the same.

Yes but it was putting f21 V brace on F20 m135i

Plenty of feedback and opinion about it on this BabyBmw thread

http://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=78393&hilit=Brace

Definitely worthwhile oem upgrade.

Hi,
Are you suspecting the upper halves to increase the space between subframe & body, that will increase its height?

I remember my E81 did increase so even the muffler pipes got the excessive space in diffuser cut-out.
